Courtney Peñaranda, Legal Assistant
Courtney Peñaranda is a legal assistant at Adams Immigration Law. She first discovered her passion to serve the immigrant community during her work with International students as an undergraduate student at Radford University in Virginia. Courtney went on to receive a masters in education in Student Affairs from Azusa Pacific University, where she had the opportunity to work as an ESL Instructor, Student Life Coordinator for International Students, and teach English to incoming college freshmen.
Courtney is passionate about learning what makes each culture unique and thrives off of being around people from different backgrounds. Courtney spent ten years in Los Angeles. Since moving to Indiana in 2014, she volunteers with various community groups that assist immigrants with low cost solutions in their pathway forward. In 2015, Courtney completed her Board of Immigration Appeals training through World Relief and has volunteered 100+ hours with a local BIA site in Logansport, IN.
Courtney is fluent in Spanish. Courtney and her Columbian husband live with their three (3) young children in Noblesville, Indiana.
