Danielle grew up both in Zionsville, Indiana and Guadalajara, Mexico. She has worked in various positions in the area of communications/public relations in newspaper, the non-profit sector, government, and on Capitol Hill. She graduated from Stetson University with a B.A, and from the University of South Florida with an M.A. in Journalism and Media Studies before moving to Washington, D.C. to work with the National Hispana Leadership Institute.
Most recently, Danielle served as the Executive Director of the Indiana Commission on Hispanic/Latino Affairs (ICHLA). She is bilingual in English/Spanish and is currently in her final year at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
