Coming from an immigrant family herself, Mina Potamousis is understanding of the challenges and unique situations that many people may face when dealing with the complex bureaucracy that is the United States immigration law system. She is a highly empathetic individual who has dedicated her professional life to the service of others, especially those who are vulnerable or need additional support to continue to realize their aspirations.
Mina is a Master’s candidate for International Public Administration at the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki, Greece with a focus on international law and public policy. She spent the last year living in Greece and attending classes, completed her coursework, and is currently working on her thesis full-time.
Before beginning her graduate studies, Mina worked for the Indiana Department of Education for five years, overseeing the Migrant Education Program, a federal education program which ensures that the children of migratory agricultural workers receive supplemental educational support to keep up with their non-migratory peers.
She volunteers with the Immigrant Welcome Center in Indianapolis, and serves on the board of the Philoptochos ladies’ philanthropic society at her church.
Mina is excited to join the Adams Immigration Law team, and looks forward to supporting our clients effectively and compassionately.
